Vanilla Almond Protein Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS:

  • Rolled oats, uncooked - 2 tbsp (12 grams)
  • Soy milk, unsweetened - 3 tbsp (45 grams)
  • Almond meal (finely ground almonds) - 1 tbsp 96 grams)
  • Vanilla-flavored protein powder - 1/2 tbsp (3 grams)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add the rolled oats and soy milk to a medium bowl and place in the microwave for 1 1/2 minute.
  2. Carefully remove from the microwave (plate can be hot) and mix in the almond meal, protein powder, and an extra 1/2 tbsp of soy milk (to make it moister).
  3. Serve and enjoy!

*Note: Stays fresh in the refrigerator for 1 day. You may also blend the oatmeal if desired.
