  • Tuna, canned, cooked - 225 grams or 8 oz
  • Egg, white - 2 large (66 grams)
  • Parsley, fresh leaves, chopped - 1 tbsp (2 grams)(can replace with 1/4 tsp dried parsley)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Drain the tuna and add it a large bowl together with the egg whites, parsley, panko bread crumbs, sea salt, and garlic powder. Mix gently with a spoon until well combined.
  2. Divide the mix into 6 portions and use your hands to form small patties out of each. Make sure they are nice and tight on the edges. You can place them on a cutting board when ready.
  3. Place a large pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the olive oil and carefully place the patties on the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side and then turn off the heat. If you're pan is not big enough to fit them all you may need to do 2 rounds so divide the olive oil as necessary.
