Apple Cinnamon Protein Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS:

  • Rolled oats, uncooked - 2 tbsp (12 grams)
  • Soy milk, unsweetened - 3 tbsp (45 grams)
  • Applesauce, unsweetened - 1/2 tbsp (8 grams)
  • Vanilla-flavored protein powder - 1/2 tbsp (3 grams)
  • Cinnamon, groun - 1/8 tsp (pinch)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add the rolled oats and soy milk to a medium bowl and place in the microwave for 45 seconds. Remove the bow, mix gently with a spoon, and microwave for another 45 seconds.
  2. Carefully remove from the microwave and mix in the applesauce, protein powder, and cinnamon. Serve and enjoy!

*Note: Once cooked, you may also blend the oatmeal in a food processor if desired.
